Carefree Candy

Our Commitment

We understand the difficulties faced by those dealing with food sensitivity and remains committed to providing every customer, regardless of dietary restrictions, the chance to enjoy our high-quality gummi candies without comprise to taste and texture. As a company, our commitments to providing a worry-free candy option include, but not limited to, written policies and procedures for smart sourcing of suppliers and ingredients. These policies and procedures are created, and regularly updated, using guidelines outlined by the FDA and regulatory partners. In addition, extra steps are taken for additional verifications by certified third-party laboratories.

  • Peanut Free: Peanut free is not only a top concern for consumers, but us too. Although our gummi recipes tend to be inherently peanut free we take the extra steps to safeguard our claim beginning at research and development, sourcing, clean manufacturing processes, and testing of retail goods laying out the framework for additional dietary concerns.
  • Gluten Free: Celiac Disease and Gluten Intolerance is becoming more common and ensuring our candies our gluten-free is a priority. Herbert’s Best gummies do not contain any gluten-containing grains (e.g., wheat, rye, barley) or ingredients derived from gluten-containing grains, unless the ingredient has been processed to remove gluten like our glucose syrup.
  • Not Genetically Engineered: A growing trend, and valid concern, of genetically engineered ingredients is also a concern of ours. Guaranteeing the highest quality of ingredients within their natural state is part of our framework previously laid out and starts at research and development, sourcing, clean manufacturing processes, and testing of retail goods.
  • Fat Free: With hidden fats in some of our favorite snacks, we are proud to say all our recipes for traditional gummies are gelatin (or protein) based and making them naturally fat free in both saturated and trans-fats. Additionally, any vegan products are starch (or carbohydrate) based and are also considered naturally fat free in both saturated and trans-fats.
